One of my core competencies lies in learning and development, an area where I thrive by leveraging the comprehensive Talent Development Capability Model from the Association for Talent Development (ATD). This framework has equipped me with a deep understanding of the best practices in talent development, enabling me to design, deliver, and measure effective learning programs that drive individual and organizational growth. My expertise in leveraging the Talent Development Capability Model translates into tangible benefits for organizations, facilitating workforce development that is strategic, impactful, and directly linked to achieving key business outcomes.

While project management is a subdomain of the Talent Development Capability Model, I felt the need to further build on that part of my skill set in order to bring greater value to a wider range of industries. So, I decided to work toward getting a professional certification specifically in project management, which I accomplished in 2024. 

My CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) has provided me with a solid foundation in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, enabling me to efficiently initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects of varying complexities. This certification's tested knowledge areas were redesigned to put a much greater emphasis on business analysis and adaptive project management techniques, which have already brought major improvements in the value that I bring to my organizations.

It emphasizes my ability to manage projects with precision, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This certification not only underscores my commitment to professional excellence but also enhances my capacity to contribute significantly to the success of projects, thereby driving business value and achieving strategic objectives for organizations.
